Dimensional lumber can be used in a variety of applications, from replacing existing materials to designing unique items. An example would be the refurbishment of old houses and buildings. Typical full-size dimension was use in the past. A 2"x4" stud was full dimension, not the 1-1/2" x 3-1/2" sold at the big box stores. We also provide large dimensional beams used as replacements in barns and other buildings.
Some applications require the use of thin boards, such as an accent wall. We can cut our wood and lumber as thin as ½". Some applications require material wider than standard sizes (4-12"). We are only limited by our equipment and available logs.
We even have craftsmen that specify a product to use for both art and furniture, such as hard-to-find clear white oak. Use your imagination, and we will do our best to help make it a reality.
One wood product that is on the rise are thin masonry boards. These boards are used to outline a project. Our specialty is in some of the thinner sizes, such as ½", that can be bent around to form fairly intricate detail.
Custom cut lumber can mean a lot of things to a lot of people. For us, it is providing materials for the replacement of bridge decking to rails for a hay trailer. It can also mean cutting a replacement beam for the renovation of a barn or home.
